Valuing human beings is one of the pillars that support the actions of Grupo Dakota. In the attempt to make sure people live happier and healthy lives, several actions are carried out in all units of the group throughout the year. Our collaborators' well-being and health, as well as the well-being and health of members of the communities surrounding our factories, is something that we feel seriously responsible for.

Environmental awareness is present in the company's daily routine, with investments in the efforts we make to become a more environmentally-friendly company. From 2009 to 2012, for example, the generation of waste per pair of shoes produced was decreased by 15% and the disposal of waste was decreased by 28%.
Grupo Dakota also promotes environmental awareness initiatives among its collaborators. Campaigns aimed at reducing water and energy consumption and at reducing the wasting of paper, food and materials are carried out on a routinely basis in all our units, which also have waste bins for selective collection. Also, the distribution of tree seedlings and the Ecovida Games motivate our collaborators to take care of nature in a better way.
